Participating in Senior Project offers an opportunity for students to gain perspective and insight on their plans for the future, as well as provide an opportunity to explore areas of passion. Twenty-two Proctor Seniors are spending the last three and one half weeks of the Spring Trimester on their Projects. All Projects culminate in individual exhibitions of what has been learned.

Blog Interrupted

On Thursday, Blogspot took a couple hour hiatus for general maintenance; unfortunately, the result was the temporary loss of most posts from Wednesday, and a monkey wrench in student's carefully orchestrated daily schedules. The seniors rallied by crafting their entries in Word or Pages, waiting for Blogspot to re launch, and then cut and pasting their new posts.

As the first week ends, students are acquiring signatures on their weekly time sheets, and turning their attention to the Week One Reflection post. Unlike the Daily post, the Weekly Reflection should be free of errors and there is an expectation that the student’s Senior Project Mentor will proofread it.

The Weekly Refection should address the following:

- What they learned the first week
- Did everything happen as they expected, and where there any surprises
- Did they like what they were doing
- How did they benefit from the week's activities

Weekly Reflections are due by 5:00 on Sunday.
